I have a Meridian 408 and no autopilot. I may or may not install AP in the future but for now I would like to know what my rudder position is for low power/docking etc. The wheel is about 6 full turns but I'm not always into counting and math, especially when we launched during a day pushing 50mph gusts!
I have upgraded to Axiom 9's and plan to extend my N2K backbone into the stern hold for future upgrades including trim and rudder angles but I have yet to find an N2K sender for my MFD. I'm just trying to minimize connections as I have seen adapters on the market.
